It is shocking to see professional educators opposing the continuity of the education of special education students from Norridge SD 80.
This type of conduct by professional educators clearly debunks any representations by “educators” that it is about the children and education, rather it is about egos and down right vindictive conduct.
It has become clear as the day goes on, that Leyden Area Special Education CoOp (LASEC) is holding SD 80 special education children “hostage” to achieve their goal of punishing SD 80 for withdrawing from LASEC and providing a strong threat to any other District that choses to withdraw that they will be dealt with as brutally as LASEC is treating the special education students of Norridge School District 80.
