Ex-Argonne National Laboratory employee pleads guilty to assaulting officers during Capitol riot

Robin Lee Reierson, 69, of Schiller Park, pleaded guilty Monday to felony charges of assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers.

A former Argonne National Laboratory employee has admitted to assaulting law enforcement officers during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot.

Robin Lee Reierson, 69, of Schiller Park, pleaded guilty Monday to a felony charge of assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers.

Reierson was among a group of rioters gathered in the West Plaza of the U.S. Capitol building, according to court documents. He used his body to push against a barrier and into a line of police officers, the documents said.

He eventually left the West Plaza, but told other rioters, “Don’t stop, keep going,” according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

About a week after the attack on the Capitol, someone sent a tip to the FBI that an employee of Argonne National Laboratory was possibly involved in the riot. Reierson was employed as a lead welder at Argonne for more than 40 years, but he no longer works there.

The FBI matched images from videos to Reierson’s Illinois driver’s license and began surveillance of his home. Agents observed him leaving in a cargo van with the same Illinois license plates that tollway records indicate was driven to Washington on Jan. 5, 2021, and back to Illinois on Jan. 7, 2021.

The FBI arrested Reierson on Aug. 23, 2023.

He was initially charged with assaulting an officer, obstruction of law enforcement, entering a restricted building and engaging in disorderly conduct with the intent of impeding Congress.

Reierson is one of nearly 50 known Illinois residents to face federal criminal charges connected to the Jan. 6 attack.

He will be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton on Oct. 16.

The KGB’s Role in Founding the PLO

The KGB’s Role in Founding the PLO

Russian KGB played a crucial role in the creation of the Palestinian national identity and the PLO. After the failure of Arab armies to destroy Israel, the KGB devised a strategy to manufacture Palestinian nationalism as a tool to oppose Israel.

The KGB was instrumental in drafting the Palestinian National Charter in 1964. It handpicked the 422 members of the Palestinian National Council, who then approved the charter, essentially creating the PLO. This move was part of a broader Soviet strategy to instill a deep-seated hatred for Israel throughout the Islamic world.

The KGB provided substantial support to various Palestinian militant groups within the PLO, including Fatah, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP). The KGB supplied arms, training, and funding, and had codenames for each faction (Fatah was “Kabinet”). This support turned these groups into proxies for Soviet interests in the Middle East.

The KGB cultivated close ties with PLO leaders such as Yasser Arafat and Wadi Haddad of the PFLP. These relationships involved providing intelligence, training camps, and directing some operations. The KGB’s influence ensured that Palestinian groups operated in alignment with Soviet objectives.

The KGB’s propaganda efforts were aimed at portraying the PLO as a legitimate national liberation movement. By manufacturing Palestinian nationalism and backing the PLO, the KGB successfully promoted it on the international stage. This propaganda helped the PLO gain observer status at the UN in 1974 and recognition from various states, bolstering its credibility.

The KGB’s creation of Palestinian nationalism had long-lasting effects. Even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the nationalist sentiment it had fostered continued to influence Palestinian groups. This foundation of anti-Israel ideology perpetuated the conflict and influenced subsequent generations of Palestinian militants.

The KGB-backed Palestinian militant groups posed significant security threats to Israel. These groups carried out numerous terrorist attacks, including hijackings and bombings, which forced Israel to adopt stringent security measures. The KGB’s support for these groups directly influenced Israel’s security policies and its approach to dealing with Palestinian militancy.

Operation SIG was a KGB active measures campaign aimed at undermining Israeli democracy by inciting hatred against Israel and creating chaos. This campaign involved disinformation and support for terrorist activities, further destabilizing the region and complicating Israel’s security landscape.

The creation of the notion of “Palestine” and the establishment of the PLO were the results of intricate geopolitical maneuvers involving key figures like Ahmad Shukeiri, Yasser Arafat, and the strategic influence of the KGB.

Welcome to Chicago, Democrats !!!

Welcome to Chicago Democrats! As you move around our beautiful downtown, you will not experience the real Chicago problems because we put a bandaid on them until you leave.

Chicago has spent millions to hide its problems for one week. Here’s the reality:

  1. Chicago has one of the worst mayors in the world. Approval rating is less than 27%. You will hear him lie for 3minutes & 30 seconds straight tomorrow. The real mayor is the president of the public school teachers union Stacey Davis Gates who sends her kids to private schools.
  2. Our migrant crisis has us with a billion dollar deficit. They are all over the streets but the city spent money to hide them for a week. While you’re here for a few days we will have spent 20+ million on shelters, apartments, food, childcare, transportation, and more.
  3. Violence is still at an all time high and we are breaking records for the most car thefts this past year. So please be safe.
  4. We have the highest unemployment rate of any large metro city with an urban population. Over 100,000 people are without jobs but we spend millions a day on migrants.

We have a very beautiful city that is plagued with bad leadership. Enjoy your stay, eat at some of our amazing restaurants and party at our best bars and nightclubs. One thing we do know how to do well is have is a good time!

WELCOME TO CHICAGO! 💚🤞🏾

Kamala’s Plan to Reduce Food Inflation ?

People need to stop overreacting about Kamala’s plan to reduce food inflation, as if it would lead to communism, mass starvation, and the end of America.

In my opinion, here’s a step-by-step summary of what would actually happen:

  1. The government announces that grocery retailers aren’t allowed to raise prices.
  2. Grocery stores, which operate on 1-2% net margins, can’t survive if their suppliers raise prices. So the government announces that food producers (Kraft Heinz, ConAgra, Tyson, Hormel, et. al.) also aren’t allowed to raise prices.
  3. Not all grocery stores are created equal. Stores in lower-income areas make less money than those in higher-income areas, as the former disproportionately sell lower-margin prepackaged foods (“center of the store”) instead of higher-margin fresh products like meat (“perimeter of the store”). Because stores in lower-income areas aren’t able to cover overhead (remember, even if their wholesale costs are fixed, their labor, utilities, insurance, and other operating expenses aren’t fixed… yet), grocery chains start to shut them down. Food deserts in rural areas and in low-income urban areas alike become worse.
  4. Meanwhile, margins for food producers are also quickly eroding. Their primary costs (ingredients, energy, and labor) aren’t fixed, and their shrinking gross profits leave less cash flow available to cover overhead, maintain facilities, and reinvest in additional production capacity.
  5. Grocery chains, which have finite shelf space, start to repurpose their stores (those they didn’t have to shut down, I should say) to sell more non-price-controlled items—everything from nutrition supplements to kitchenware to apparel—and less price-controlled food products. Your local Kroger or Safeway starts to look and feel more like a Walmart.
  6. Food producers stop making products with lower margins. Grocery chain start competing with each other to secure inventory. Since they can’t compete by offering stronger prices (remember, producers aren’t allowed to raise prices here, and, even if they could, grocery chains no longer have the gross profit to bear price increases), they compete on things like payment terms.
  7. Small grocery chains start to shut down entirely, or get sold to larger chains like Kroger. In addition to not being able to cover fixed costs, a major reason for this is because they can no longer reliably secure delivery of products, due to producers prioritizing sales to larger customers, which are able to leverage their stronger balance sheets to offer superior payment terms.
  8. Smaller food producers—which typically sell via distributors, rather than directly to grocery chains—start to go out of business. Because these producers have an additional step their value chains, and because they have lower volumes over which to spread their fixed costs, their cost structure is inherently disadvantaged compared to major food producers. When grocery stores aren’t able to raise prices, cutting product costs becomes all the more important, and deprioritizing purchases from smaller producers is an easy way to do so.
  9. As supply chains break down, lines start to form outside grocery stores every morning. Cities assign police officers to patrol store parking lots, and food producers draft contingency plans to assign armed escorts to delivery trucks.
  10. The federal government announces a program to issue block grants for states to purchase and operate shuttered grocery stores. The USDA also seizes closed-down production facilities.
  11. The government announces that prices for all key food costs—corn, wheat, cattle, energy, etc.—are also now fixed, to stop “profiteers” from gouging the now-government-operated food industry.
  12. Shockingly, the government struggles to operate one of the most complex industries on the planet. The entire food supply chain starts imploding.
  13. Communism, mass starvation, and the end of America quickly ensue.

Dolton Mayor, Tiffany Henyard Has Been on a Spending Spree !!!

Corruption On A Scale Only Seen In US Government

It’s crazy that I watch Dolton IL board meetings like I watch episodes of trash reality tv. Tiffany Henyard is a terrible human being. The fact her wigs look so bad and she uses city funds to pay for them is outright diabolical.

Dolton, Illinois Mayor Tiffany Henyard’s spending sprees added $5 million in debt in just 2 yrs. Armed security protect her from questioning. Investigation finds tax payers are paying $13,000 EACH EVERY 2 WEEKS for her security

“But when we asked Henyard a few months ago about her use of tax dollars, she was quickly hustled out of the room by armed security. And on Facebook, in videos posted by Hanyard herself, we see her being driven around and surrounded by Dalton officers, which got us to wondering, why all the cops?

We weren’t opposed to her having the security detail. We asked how long ark. And how often?

Dalton trustee Brittany Norwood says Hennure began assembling her details shortly after being elected in 2021 using handpicked Dalton police officers. Using a freedom of information request, we obtained the work records for 6 of the officers assigned to Hanyard’s security detail at various times r and showed them to some of Dalton’s trustees. This is a freedom of information request we did to see how much overtime these officers are on her security detail.

Oh, wow. 162 hours. 162. Oh, that’s nothing.

What goes through your mind when you see these numbers?

Our Uh, it it’s it’s disappointing. It’s frustrating.

The officers are paid every 2 weeks, which without overtime is 80 hours. But when they’re put on Hennard’s detail, that 80 hours balloons to well over a 100 hours, sometimes 200 hours. Ark. And in the case of officer Terry Young last May, 303 hours worked over a 2 week period. Our That resulted in a single paycheck of more than $13,000.

How? How does a person put in a 2 armed pay period. 303 hours. That’s impossible. That’s impossible.

It’s 336 hours. Go to sleep?

In fact, there are 336 hours hours total in 2 weeks, meaning Young was not being paid for only 33 hours over that period. Other officers on the security detail are also racking overtime paychecks in the multiple 1,000 of dollars. Do you mind if I ask you a couple questions about your security detail?

Absolutely not.”

This woman is corrupt to the core, previously:

Tiffany A. Henyard, Mayor of Dolton, Illinois denies her salary of $300,000 per year. Proven true by her tax filing

Spent $24k of tax payer money on restaurants in 1 year. Thousands on first class flights, Vegas trips, Vegas strip dining. Frequent trips to Bubba Gump Shrimp Company & Hot and Juicy Crawfish. Thousands on hotel and short term vacation rentals.

The city mayor also just signed for a $149,000 Chevy Tahoe.

How do these people get elected?

During Monday’s Dolton Board Meeting, two unfamiliar faces were seen sitting beside Mayor Tiffany Henyard. On Tuesday, FOX 32 Chicago learned that these individuals are criminal defense attorneys recently hired by the mayor.

Unparalleled Corruption In Illinois Continues

Dolton, Illinois Mayor Tiffany Henyard Has Now Signed A Check For $561,000 To Repave Her Mom’s Home Driveway With Tax Payer Money. She’s Also Removed All Other City Members From Being Able To Sign For Spending Except For Herself

“Just for the record, um, and the reason, I guess, uh, I want all of the citizens to know why we’re so adamant about this budget and what’s going on. May 12, 2021, a resolution was passed. The following persons are hereby authorized to be added as signatures for all city accounts, mayor Tiffany Hanyard, village clerk, Allison Key. Any prior signatures or individuals visuals authorized and hereby removed from the accounts prior authorization is revoked. Number of signatures required are a combination of both signatures.

At the approval of payment by the village board, each check Shelby signed by the mayor and the clerk. We have a half $1,000,000 check signed by mayor Tiffany Hanger. Yeah. I wonder why we worried about the money. This is why we worried about the money.

$561,000 check with 1 signature on there. It’s a problem. That mean that money is being spent. And after, we don’t find out till after the check’s been cashed. That’s why we up here complaining about it.

Shout out to trustee Belcher. Trustee Belcher is all about transparency, all about accountability, and she is Simply doing her job as a trustee. No 1 person is supposed to have the power to write checks in a public office for over a half $1,000,000. Nobody is supposed to have that much power, which is why 2 signatures are required. And this is what you call checks and balances.

Now trustee Belcher and trustee House, in real life, they have financial experience as CFOs, So they know all about financial audits. They know all about checks and balances. This city girl mayor does not. She’s walking around acting like she’s Scarface. Shout out to all the board of trustees holding her accountable.

Trustee Norwood, trustee Brown, Belcher in house. These are the adults in the room, and the Super city girl mayor is more like the 40 year old, 2 year old who’s storing temper tantrums and destroying the place. So who was this $561,000 check written out to? It was written out in April of 2022 To a construction group called K5 Construction. This company is responsible for a lot of the concrete work in the village of Dalton, like paving sidewalks.

But here’s another thing. The mayor can never do anything for the, quote, people without doing something for herself. So one of the first things she did was Get her driveway paved. Before she became mayor, she reported that she still lived at her mom’s house. And that was a project at the top of her list for tax Spares to pay for.

Her own house or to be exact, her own mom’s house. Whatever. Whatever. I do what I want. We’re talking about Daunton, Illinois.

Population about 20,000 people. For years, you had Daunton residents begging to have their streets repaired. Look at this.”

Anniversary of First US Astronauts on the Moon on July 20, 1969

55 years ago on July 20, 1969, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong become the first men to set foot on the moon. The 363 feet tall Saturn V rocket that launched the Apollo 11 astronauts into space is still the tallest, heaviest, and most powerful rocket ever flown. Fully fueled for liftoff, the Saturn V weighed 2.8 million kilograms (6.2 million pounds), the weight of about 400 elephants. The rocket generated 34.5 million newtons (7.6 million pounds) of thrust at launch, creating more power than 85 Hoover Dams.

Armstrong was the first to walk on the moon because he was closest to the door of the tiny lunar module which had landed in an area known as the Sea of Tranquility. When his feet touched the ground he famously said, “That’s one small step for man. One giant leap for mankind.” He claims that he said, “That’s one small step for a man” but the transmission cut out during the “a.”

In central Ohio, where Armstrong was raised, speakers have a tendency to blend the two words together. Linguistic studies have confirmed that coming out of Armstrong’s mouth, the phrase “for a” would have sounded like “frrr(uh)”. Armstrong maintained that the quote was not pre-planned and that he did not give any thought to what he would say until after he landed the lunar module.

Buzz Aldrin called for a moment of silence after the landing to give thanks for their survival. He took communion with a wafer and a tiny chalice of wine. He described the moon, “Beautiful! Beautiful! Magnificent desolation.”

We Live In Interesting Times

It took seventy years for the Soviet Empire to collapse and shrink into the current, autocratic state of Russia. Smaller, engaged in war, while bleeding away its manpower and wealth for a pointless war. In the unlikely event that Putin could pull some kind of rescue plan from his failing economy, Russia is an empire in rapid decline.

Most of the western world would regard this as good news, but blinkered in their views, they cannot see a similar decline in the empire created by the USA. A great nation, built on strong constitutional and moral foundations is floundering and although its economy remains strong, that economy relies on confidence, unity and leadership. Since the election of Clinton and GW Bush, the USA has struggled with morality, its system of electing leaders, the integrity of its justice system and the partisan division of congress. No longer working for the people, elected representatives work for power and money. Half of the population cannot afford higher education and are left as a vote dump for extremists, while the remaining half demand lower taxes. With the loss of moral expectations at every level, the USA struggles to find a direction for the future. Without the principles of ‘Right and Wrong’ it is hard to build confidence. The USA has been another empire in decline since the election of Richard Nixon and his presidential pardon. Modern ethical standards are now based on whether one gets caught.

Europe struggles, the great European post war experiment is cracking under pressure from well funded authoritarian based, political parties with leaders fond of money and control who are building their voting base on division and fear. There is still a strong moral centre to Europe but it is under attack. In the UK, since Brexit and Covid, nothing works, revealing the final stages of degradation in another once great empire that lasted three hundred years. Finished off by the two great wars of the 20th century.

The Chinese Empire has risen and fallen more times than all the others put together. China sits like a vulture waiting for Russia or the USA to destroy one another. China is viewing Russian Manchuria. Russia cannot defend the east while it expends all its efforts in the west. China can wait and watch, selling to Russia, Europe and the USA. China is united and wealthy with vast well organised resources.

India, the largest ‘democracy’ in the world sells to whoever has the money to pay. All ethical considerations come second to the principle of profit, no different from the rest, just more predictable and obvious.

Is there a future for:
Russia? No!
The USA? I desperately hope so.
Europe? Yes, if it becomes more self reliant.
China? Yes.
India? Yes, they will always make a profit.

We live in interesting times.

Who Was Thomas Matthew Crooks ?

Thomas Matthew Crooks, who almost assassinated Donald Trump, had no big muscles or military training that a female Secret Service agent couldn’t handle for being 5’5”. He was not an “animal immigrant,” a term often used by those on the right to describe undocumented immigrants. He was not a Muslim fundamentalist terrorist who hated America for its freedom. It doesn’t seem he was inspired by Russia, China, Iran, Syria, or North Korea. He was not released from a mental institution in Africa to invade America.

He was not an unqualified, unhappy Black DEI hire who didn’t deserve the position they got. He did not come through the open southern border to change the “original” American population and vote for the Democrats, whatever year that would be, whatever that means. He was a white male registered Republican who donated to the Democrats. He was just 20 years old and did not seem to be motivated by racism. He had a dysfunctional mindset and was armed with an AR-15 and explosives in his car.

He did not seem to be a very sophisticated hired assassin. He could be seen by the rally-goers. He fired a few shots, hit four people, killed one, and left three others injured, two of them badly injured. He was the enemy within, not the fictional enemies we like to create to feel good about our superiority or to sell weapons. He did not fit the profile of the “bad people” we love to spread on social media.

Hate, xenophobia, racism, and prejudice frequently influence American political conventions. However, these sentiments often stem from our darker impulses rather than objective facts.

Trump posted “UNITE AMERICA!” to his Truth Social account.

This interview President Trump just did gave me chills:

“Former President Donald Trump has completely rewritten his convention speech in light of the assassination attempt against him on Saturday and will call on Thursday for a new effort at national unity.

In an exclusive interview with the Washington Examiner a day after being hit by a sniper’s bullet, Trump said he wanted to take advantage of a historic moment and draw the country together.

“The speech I was going to give on Thursday was going to be a humdinger,” he said, “Had this not happened, this would’ve been one of the most incredible speeches” aimed mostly at the policies of President Joe Biden. “Honestly, it’s going to be a whole different speech now.”

He has switched, he said, from planning to excite his voter base to one that demonstrates his belief that the attack on him at a rally in Pennsylvania had changed the election campaign entirely. Both Republicans and Democrats have acknowledged this in the aftermath of Saturday’s shocking incident.

Trump said people all across the country from different walks of life and different political views have called him, and he noted that he was saved from death because he turned from the crowd to look at a screen showing data he was using in his speech.

“That reality is just setting in,” he said. “I rarely look away from the crowd. Had I not done that in that moment, well, we would not be talking today, would we?”
Talking as he boarded his plane in Bedminster, New Jersey, for Milwaukee, where the Republican National Convention starts Monday and lasts through Thursday, Trump said his speech will meet the moment that history demands. “It is a chance to bring the country together. I was given that chance.”
Early Sunday morning, Trump posted on Truth Social that it was “God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening” and that he would “fear not.” Again, in talking to the Washington Examiner, he invoked “God” for his deliverance.

“This is a chance to bring the whole country, even the whole world, together. The speech will be a lot different, a lot different than it would’ve been two days ago,” he said.

The Washington Examiner’s interview with Trump had been due to take place on his airplane on the return flight from the rally to Bedminster. That arrangement put this reporter just feet from Trump when he was shot.

Trump hailed Corey Comperatore, the former fire chief who was shot and killed at the rally, and two other supporters, David Dutch and James Copenhaver, who were wounded and are recovering at a local hospital in stable condition.

Trump said his decision to raise his hand when the Secret Service was leading him off stage was to let the people there know he was OK, “And that America goes on, we go forward, that we are strong,” he said.

The photograph of him holding his fist in the air, blood streaming across his face as the agents surrounded him, has already become the iconic image of the 2024 election.

If he speaks in Milwaukee of uniting the country, it would echo President Ronald Reagan, who, in 1981, projected strength as he, too, recovered from wounds — far graver than Trump’s — inflicted by a would-be assassin in Washington, D.C.

Trump said when he stood up and saw the crowd had not moved, he needed to tell them that he and the country were going to be OK. “The energy coming from the people there in that moment, they just stood there; it’s hard to describe what that felt like, but I knew the world was looking. I knew that history would judge this, and I knew I had to let them know we are OK.”

White House pressure “Cannot Be Dismissed as Mere Persuasion.”

OUTRAGED: Justice Samuel Alito EXPLODES after Supreme Court dismisses case against Biden’s White House pressuring social media companies to censor what they deemed disinformation during COVID and the 2020 election, says America might regret the decision, says, White House pressure “Cannot Be Dismissed as Mere Persuasion.”

In dissenting, Justice Alito was joined by Justices Thomas and Gorsuch

Alito penned a withering dissent in the Murthy case in stark contrast to the bewildering majority opinion in which Coney Barrett seems to contend there is some benign coercion exception to the federal govt violating the 1st Amendment. The naivete expressed by the majority as to what the government was doing is galactic in scope. One of the worst decisions in recent memory. A terrible day for fans of living in a free society.

NOTE: Justice Alito expressed significant concern about the extent of government influence on social media platforms, emphasizing that the interactions went beyond mere encouragement and ventured into coercion.

“The Government’s pressure tactics, which included threats of adverse regulatory action, cannot be dismissed as mere persuasion.”

NOTE: The dissent argued that the majority mischaracterized the plaintiffs’ standing, asserting that the connection between government actions and social media censorship was sufficiently established.

“The majority’s demand for concrete evidence of causation in each instance of censorship overlooks the broader pattern of government pressure and its chilling effect on free speech.”

NOTE: The dissent emphasized the potential chilling effect of government actions on free speech, warning that the ruling could embolden future government efforts to suppress dissenting views.

“This ruling effectively grants the government a free pass to continue its campaign of suppression, threatening the foundational principles of free expression.”

NOTE: Justice Alito argued that judicial intervention is necessary to prevent further government overreach in influencing social media moderation policies.

“Judicial oversight is imperative to safeguard against the encroachment of government on the marketplace of ideas.”

NOTE: The dissent highlighted ongoing evidence of government influence over social media platforms, pointing to continued communications and pressure tactics.

“The record is replete with instances of continued government engagement with social media companies, underscoring the persistent nature of the coercion.”
