Last night I had the pleasure of attending our annual District 81 Winter Band concert. Pictures cannot capture the music our talented students performed, the dedication of Band Director, Karen Olsen, or the energy of the evening, but I did get the chance to take a few good shots from my spot in the audience! 

A special moment that brought a smile to all of our faces was when Ms. Olsen’s mother was introduced by her daughter to perform with the Band.  She was a great guest performer, and I know the students were excited to have their Director’s mom on stage with them!
