Pritzker Tells Illinoisans to Leave Illinois If They Are Not Democrats

Pritzker tells Illinoisans to leave Illinois! “Get Up and Move!”

“Get Up and Move!”

Gov. JB Pritzker was asked on Thursday in Southern Illinois about the people pushing counties to vote on seceding from Illinois and forming their own state or joining another.

[Q: Is Pritzker the problem, or are the people of Illinois the problem?]

Governor Pritzker (D) attended the Shawneetown Port groundbreaking and urged citizens of Illinois who want to separate from Illinois “Get up and move”

33 counties in Illinois have voted to separate from Illinois.
42 counties have a separation committee.

Reasons:
-High Property taxes
-High Income taxes
-High cost of living
-Frustration with Governor Pritzker and Springfield politicians.
-Declining job opportunities
-Crime
At a press conference Pritzker said:

“I think partisans and people who don’t support the fact that this is mostly a Democratic state are looking for any way to get attention, and so they talk about and push the idea that somehow counties in Illinois are going to leave, get up and join another state. That’s not going to happen. That’s not how it works.
……if you want to leave, then get up and move.”
