JB Pritzker signed a new law that allows undocumented immigrants to become driving instructors in Illinois.
(Q: Is this law good a good idea?]
IL House and Senate Republicans opposed the idea.
House Bill 3125 passed out of the Senate on a 37-20 vote. The measure received a 75-38 vote in the House. Only Democrats voted for the bill.

According to WAND-TV, The legislation, signed into law last week, allows anyone with a TVDL (Temporary Visitor Driver’s License) for at least two years to teach driving courses. Sponsors said this change will help expand the people eligible to become driving instructors without reducing qualifications for the job.
