My children, RJ and Brody were recently invited with my wife, Mary Jane and I, by the Illinois Autism Society to the Konica Minolta and Jo Ride Bicycles Special Holiday Gathering  to promote Friendship and Good Will.   The brunch was held at the Keshet International Center in Northbrook on Sunday, December 11, 2011.   The Konica Minolta Colorful Tomorrow Foundation distributed 60 JoRide Bicycles to families and organizations in the Chicago Market.   Their efforts are greatly appreciated in their quest in delivering a more colorful tomorrow to special children this Holiday Season.

These are special bikes for children that have problems riding conventional two wheel bicycles.  These bikes will be useful in the children’s occupational therapy and physical therapy programs.

A special thanks to Steve Cohen of Aaron Equipment Company, who with his son devised the design of the bicycles and now manufactures them, and to the Illinois Autism Society  http://www.autismillinois.org/, and Mary Kay Betz, Executive Director of the Illinois Autism Society.
